- I originally had a single Maxtor 120 Mb on the SCSI bus as #6
- Some time ago I attached a second Maxtor 120Mb on the SCSI bus at #5.
- I removed the terminating resistors on the drive on #5 as per
- installation instructions.

- At around the same time, I started having various read errors on both
- drives, particularly when the drives were cold. They appeared to be
- random, affecting various blocks on bootup.
- I returned the computer to the original configuration, with the single
- drive, but still had the same problems. I have put up with the
- inconvenience for quite a while, as the drives read OK when warmed up.
